Privacy Policy

TauCal is a scheduling tool for recruiters. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. Questions? Email privacy@taucal.com.

What we collect

• Recruiters (who sign in): your Google account name, email, and profile photo; your timezone; and calendar busy/free information used to compute availability.
• Candidates (who book): the name, email, and any notes you provide when booking, and an optional résumé if you choose to upload one.

How we use it

• Create and manage bookings and the times offered to candidates.
• Read your Google Calendar availability and add/remove calendar events for bookings.
• Generate meeting links (Google Meet) and send confirmation, notification, and cancellation emails.

Google Calendar access

With your permission, TauCal reads your calendars' busy/free times to avoid double-booking and creates or deletes events for the interviews booked through TauCal. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings; we then stop accessing your calendar.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a small set of service providers to run TauCal: Google (sign-in and calendar), Neon (database), Cloudflare (transactional email and, for résumés, R2 storage), and Vercel (hosting). Candidate details and résumés are shared with the recruiter who owns the booking.

Retention & your choices

We keep booking and account data while your account is active. You can disconnect Google in Settings, and you can request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@taucal.com.
